' | Plastic Whale wants to tackle this problem by showing people that plastic is not waste, but a valuable raw material. Plastic Whale is the first professional plastic fishing company in the world. A social enterprise with a mission: make the world’s waters plastic-free and create value from plastic waste. It started five years ago with a single challenge to build a boat made of plastic waste. Tourists, business people, and children are fishing plastic out of the canals of Amsterdam. Nowadays Plastic Whale is organizing plastic fishing events, school programs, and public events. Thousands of people, businesses, tourists, and kids' roll-up their sleeves and take to the Amsterdam canals to come plastic fishing with Plastic Whale. They all want to make the world a better, cleaner place and support our mission for plastic-free waters. Plastic Whale is having a fleet of six design boats made from Amsterdam Canal Plastic. Sweep smart is a sustainable waste management enterprise based in Bangalore, India that collects and recycles plastic waste to create local jobs with decent pay & conditions, and reduce the amount of plastic on landfill sites, one of our planet’s main sources of plastic soup. | |||
