The Municipality of Goes is located in the Netherlands’ southwestern province of Zeeland. HAIRE will focus on the villages to the east and south of the small town of Goes. Isolation and loneliness are key issues in the area. Further, 21.8% of the municipality’s population (total: 39,880 inhabitants) are aged 60-75 and 11.1% are aged 75+.
