HAIRE
HAIRE is the acronym for Healthy Ageing Through Innovation in Rural Europe. The aim of HAIRE, a project that ran from January 2020 to March 2023, was to empower older adults in rural areas of Europe - specifically in the 2Seas area. The project's work helped to define support for older adults in its rural pilot sites. HAIRE's main approach promoted local participation in the design and delivery of services (formal and informal) with the support of the voluntary, public and private sectors.
