Student Company in the Spotlight - Fit me

Team: International Business students Year 2: Siyana Marinova, Lorena Fermin Vaez, Maureen Desmauts, Konstantin Todorov, María Pérez Guirado

Industry: Female Fitness & Bodybuilding

Key competence: Physical Health & Lifestyle

The idea: Virtual application platform that connects females in Zeeland and urges them to share the fitness experience

Why is the idea important? Females are nearly as twice as likely to be diagnosed with depression as men are. Which incites eating disorders, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. Females want to be fit, accepted, and to feel good in their skin without experiencing limitations, stress, or judgment. What’s stopping them is the lack of emotional support in the fitness hall to get started. This company aims to help females integrate into the fitness industry and be confident.

Key strategy: Rethink – sharing among females. Repurpose – fitness application for personal development but also a tool to connect
