The ability to measure currents and wave heights is very limited due to the high cost of the required instruments. A number of new low-cost sensors are being tested for waves and current velocity. Because of the low costs, these sensors can be used on a large(er) scale, allowing spatial patterns to be measured. +

The overall objective of I-KNOW-HOW is to facilitate people who receive a diagnosis of cancer to remain or return to work by co-creating and piloting new services for (i) employers, (ii) employees, (iii) (para)medical professionals and (iv) job coaches. By means of these innovative services we intend to increase the percentage of people with cancer who remain or return to work by 15% and we will shorten the period that the employee is absent of work given the right adaptions by the employer and with support from a job coach and the (para)medical team. For the 2seas area, this implicates that 4.889 extra people with cancer will remain or return to work. These return-to-work programmes will reduce the costs for both employers and government substantially. +

INCASE develops knowledge, innovative applications and pilots on key enabling automation technologies for the future I4.0. INCASE will deliver 10 thematic demonstration trajectories on those key enabling automation technologies for smart factories and green technologies for smart homes and factories. The demonstration actions will inspire practicing engineers towards new products and new production methodologies. The intermediary organisations will actively create awareness on the future I4.0.
One of the focus-areas of this project is Smart Homes. This report describes the state-of-the-art with the partner organisations of this topic.

In alle bedrijfsruimtes waaronder Smederij-Werkplaats,
Showroom , Magazijn, Hobbyloods Rapenburg en kantine
is de TL-verlichting vervangen door LED-verlichting. Dit
zijn totaal 86 stuks verlichting wat een hoge
energiebesparing geeft.
Verder hebben wij een nieuw sociaal ondernemend concept
ontwikkeld betreft dagbesteding met houtbewerking
waarbij cliënten met een licht verstandelijke beperking
worden begeleid door gepensioneerde vakmensen.
Omdat dit loonkosten bespaart binnen de zorg, kunnen wij
met deze formule kleinschalige dagbesteding aanbieden
zodat de cliënten daadwerkelijk alleen of in groepjes van
hooguit 3 personen de dagbesteding kunnen volgen. Deze
dagbesteding wordt aangeboden onder de naam HDAM. +

The aim of this project was to positively contribute to the cooperation of participating parties and capturing and sharing their knowledge and experience. The knowledge will be shared in the form of a wiki, developed by the HZ University of Applied Sciences. The wiki is a tool that will detect the interrelationships between the various initiatives within the robust water system, with the aim of strengthening collaboration of existing parties and stimulating new parties to participate. CBS telde 10,5 miljoen toeristische overnachtingen in Zeeland, een nieuw record. Dit is zo’n 4% meer dan in 2017. NBTC verwacht dat deze groei de komende jaren zal doorzetten (zie Perspectief 2030). Op basis van scenarioanalyse voorspelt NBTC dat het aantal inkomende verblijfsbezoekers aan de Nederlandse kust groeit met 56%. +
In 2020 heeft HZ Kenniscentrum Kusttoerisme - op basis van deskresearch en open data - onderzoek gedaan naar de objectivering van de impact van toerisme op de leefbaarheid in Zeeland. +

Van Houtum can fully recycle cardboard coffee cups and turning it into printing paper. The ink can be collected, and the coating of the cups can be reused as well. This process can become profitable as soon as its logistics becomes attractive. This can be achieved by creating volume and by collaboration with different partners in the region. +
