Nilab Raufi is studying Business Administration at HZ and is in her fourth year. She is currently doing an internship at the Knowledge Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and is doing research on future-proofing SMEs under the supervision of Frank Peeters, in cooperation with Dockwize. As a professional product for her thesis she will make a future-proof scan for entrepreneurs. +
Noëlle Verhage is project leader and researcher within HZ Knowledge Center for Coastal Tourism.
She wants to contribute to mapping relevant issues needed to maintain the balance between nature, tourism, residents and governments.
Within the industry for tourism and nature in Zeeland, she has gained a lot of knowledge and work experience in recent years. Outside of her work, she can be found a lot in Zeeland's nature, on her mountain bike, road bike and in her kayak.
She is currently involved in the projects Tourism and Nature, Zis Groene Compagnie, Divers aanbod (water recreation) and Monitoring Waterdunen. +

Pascalle Jacobs has been working as research coordinator and senior researcher at the Aquaculture in Delta Areas research group since 1 October 2021.
She studied Management of Marine Ecosystems at Wageningen University and obtained her PhD there in 2015 on a study of the effect of mussel seed capture installations on plankton in the Wadden Sea.
During and after her PhD research she worked for WMR and NIOZ on pelagic and benthic primary production, phytoplankton and different species of shellfish such as mussels, flat oysters and cockles.
Her expertise lies in the interaction between shellfish and microalgae, experimental research and ecology. +
Paul Vader studied biology at the University of Amsterdam and has worked at the HZ since 1997. He taught aquatic ecology at the Water Management programme, developed a minor in sustainability and various courses in that field at the Lectorate for Sustainability and was editor-in-chief of HZ Discovery, the magazine on HZ research. From early 2012, Paul worked as a content manager at the research group Building with Nature (BwN) on the project ''Building with Living Nature''.
In recent years, Paul has further qualified himself as content manager for the wikis that the research group EVM develops and maintains. Simon Witt is a researcher a project leader at HZ Knowledge Center for Coastal Tourism.
In his work, Simon seeks the balance between nature, tourists, entrepreneurs, residents and governments. By mapping developments and sharing knowledge with the sector, he hopes to make it future-proof.
He does a lot of research into responsible entrepreneurship with regard to the sustainable use of energy, water and raw materials. He also investigates the experience of tourists and residents with regard to the expected growth of tourism. The preservation and improvement of the coastal environment for future generations through future-oriented government policy is central to this. +
Stef Bleyenberg is a researcher within the HZ Knowledge Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. He completed the Commercial Economics degree at the HZ. He conducts research for various Interregs, such as FRESH4Cs and Smart Services Bridge. In addition, he supervises students in the minor Innovation in SMEs and fulfills a supporting role in other KCOI research projects.
