Nineteen value chain meetings were organized and not only entrepreneurs but also suppliers and other local parties attended.
In 2021, seventeen pilots spread over Flanders and the Netherlands will start. During these value chain meetings meetings entrepreneurs learned about circularity in the tourism sector. The meetings also focused on finding possibilities for circular solutions within the current business model. The pilots are created to stimulate the adoption of circular solutions by SME’s in the tourism sector. Motivated entrepreneurs with a background in different lines of tourism participate in the pilots (day attractions, accommodations, catering and municipalities). The pilots consist of developing an action plan to make a company more circular. External experts will help the entrepreneurs in finding the right answers in their questions.
