Introduction on the go recycling

On the go recycling has just been introduced in Great Yarmouth!

Thanks to funding from the FACET project, increasing bin capacity along Great Yarmouth Seafront has begun. Phase one, the installation of 60 bins, will be complete by the end of the week, with further capacity to be added soon.

These bins are allowing us to remove the small, outdated bins and upgrade them to these larger bins which will help keep our seafront tidy. The recycling bins (green) will accept empty glass, plastic bottles and cans and the other bins (black) are for general litter. No trade waste is allowed in either.
